This 5-year-old Crianza comes from a legendary
Rioja winemaker we’ve worked with for years.
We can’t go into huge detail, but their reds are
very popular with our Rioja-loving customers,
having earned pages of glowing 5-star reviews.
And there’s good reason for that. Normally, this
wine boasts ‘Rioja Alta’ on its label – marking
it out as something extra-special. It means all
grapes have come from a mountainous corner
of north-west Rioja, where the slopes and
altitude create the ideal conditions for grapes
to slowly ripen to full-flavoured perfection.
You won’t find it on the label here. The
paperwork is very time-consuming. But rest
assured, this is a special wine. It has a beautiful
balance of deep red fruit and juicy freshness –
silky smooth and delicately spiced after five years
