WYFOLD VINEYARD
Barbara Laithwaite began planting her small 2.2-hectare
Oxfordshire vineyard in 2003 – her plan to make a high-quality
English sparkling wine. Ten years later, with her first release,
the 2009, she won a Trophy and has won two more since. She
makes both a fine Brut and a beautiful rosé, a mixed 6-bottle
case of which Vineyard Partners receive once a year.

WINDSOR GREAT PARK VINEYARD
Windsor Great Park Vineyard is a unique English sparkling wine
estate lying within the Royal Park, a project we were proud to
have initiated. Planted in 2010 on excellent soils on Mezel Hill,
this three-hectare plot is ideal and has the prizes to show for
it. Its fine fizz has a creamy mousse leading to notes of warm
toasted brioche, ripe stone fruits and a core of minerality.
Production is very small, so secure a Partnership while you can.

CHÂTEAU LA CLARIÈRE
Bordeaux is where Tony started his wine adventure in 1969 ... and
in 1980 was persuaded to buy Château La Clarière in Castillon,
neighbour to Saint-Émilion. This was the very first Vineyard
Partner estate and it’s won Golds and Trophies galore for both
its fine claret and its oak-fermented white. That’s thanks to the
support from its Partners, who receive an annual case of either
the red or the white. Partners can stay at the château too.

CLOS DE LA VIERGE
Jurançon is a forgotten region of southwest France, close to the
Pyrenees. It makes gloriously rich, creamy, rounded whites cut
through by a refreshing minerality. One of the finest is from Clos
de la Vierge, a beautiful estate run by a 74-year-old lady and her
mum! This was a true rescue story – customers were dwindling,
but with a regular annual sale to Partners they are back on track.
This white is lush, rich and complex – a real treasure of a wine.
