“The Rhône is a historic wine region with a great
north-south divide. In the north, Syrah vines cling to
slopes that climb steeply above the great river. It’s
hallowed ground for fans of spicy, powerful Syrah.
In the south, the vineyard area is wider and flatter, the
landscape is more Mediterranean and the wines – often
more Grenache-focused – are herb-scented, velvety
and warming. There are lush, characterful whites too.
Explore the exciting range of styles on taste today.”
